 Abstract:  John C. Ford (1856-1936) was the pastor of the First Baptist Church, Jefferson, Ohio, during its 1894-1895 building program. The collection consists of correspondence concerning the bidding, design, and construction of 12 stained glass windows for the First Baptist Church, Jefferson, Ohio. Major correspondents include George Drake of the Cleveland Stained Glass Works, C.E. Udell, a wholesaler from St. Louis, Missouri, Theodore Marx of the Decorative Arts Company, Cincinnati, and the Van Cleve Glass Company, Cleveland. Also included are some promotional flyers.
